Nariu tampama, padavus raštišką pareiškimą artimiausiai VLB apylinkės valdybai. Nariais gali būti priimami ir jokiai LB apylinkei nepriklausantys asmenys. Jie įrašomi į Vokietijos LB valdybos sudaromą narių sąrašą. Nariai moka solidarumo įnašą. Nuo 2013 metu jis yra nustatytas taip:
